Mary-Kate Inkster APD

Mary-Kate is an experienced Accredited Practicing Dietitian who has worked in paediatric health for 15 years.

Mary-Kate began her career at Monash Hospital where she worked as a clinical Dietitian for a number of years. Discovering her passion for paediatric dietetics, she has work at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital for the past 8 years primarily in the Paediatric Endocrine Department with children with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and weight management.

Whilst working in the clinical space, Mary-Kate has also undertaken a role on a research trial through Monash University, working with treatment-seeking adolescents who are either overweight or living with obesity.

Mary-Kate has also undertaken some work with the Department of Health and Victorian Government, writing the Nutrition and Quality Food Standards for Paediatric Patients in Victorian Hospitals.
